In 2013 I had a very profitable concrete testing business going on.
I did concrete testing and sampling for contractors and engineers at power plants/municipalities around Western PA. During heavy construction operations when concrete testing was needed; contractors/engineers would call on my business to perform a test and make concrete molds.
After I did that I provided the data to the contractors. Simple as that. Keystone Inspection and Testing services (KITS) is what my businesses name was… and it was simple to run and very profitable in the few years I did it. I managed and operated this business myself with my father and one other assistant helping me out. Everything was great but it began to get too big and I have three other businesses that I operate and I could not take any time away from them. I never planned on the concrete testing business to take off and do as good as it i did.
It hit me all at once and I couldn’t give KITS the time it needed to grow and prosper the way it should. So I put it on a back burner and I wanted to stop the business for a year and try to free some time and try again. One year has led to three years and I may never have the time to get it going again. Below is the equipment list:
3 concrete testing kits. Forney meters – strike rods – slump cones – etc. The equipment is in proper working order and doesn’t need any repairs. I also have grout cube molds that go along with the concrete materials.
2 huge curing boxes to place on site.
I believe I have about 20 cylinder molds.
and I had a truck (that I sold) to carry the equipment around in.
I also have an absolutely fantastic website and domain for this business. I got all of my jobs through the website and iff you truly wanted to make money with this business and get a fast start – you want the websites.

If you’re not already – you would need an ACI concrete certification to do the concrete testing or hire someone that has this certification or experience.
